STRIKER John Mullin has agreed terms over a switch to the Fraser Eagle Stadium following his release from Tranmere Rovers at the end of last season.

He is expected to become Stanley’s third summer signing, adding to Colin Murdock and Chris King’s aquisitions, after verbally agreeing on the contract offered by John Coleman.

John, 32, is the younger brother of Stanley’s Paul, meaning next season could see Stanley strating with a front line of Mullin and Mullin.

Reds boss John Coleman who was casting his eye over the striker in Pre-Season training told the Lancashire Telegraph: “John knows the club through Paul and he`s my type of player.

‘He`s very dedicated to his profession, has good attributes and is a good footballer.”
