SIX Argentinians have left Accrington Stanley following a two week trial period with the club after their agent had brought the players over for the club to have a look at.

The players had travelled for a total of 20 hours to get to The Fraser Eagle Stadium to try to impress John Coleman and his Assistant Jimmy Bell, and made their debuts in the 1-1 draw with Vodkat League Division One side Darwen.

The players covered all positions except the goalkeeping slot, meaning Stanley had the Argentines covering the defence, midfield and attack, with all of the players impressing the management staff.

But the one who looks most likely to be interesting Stanley is frontman Ivan Rodriguez who rattled the bar and tested the Darwen keeper a number of times in a fantastic first game in the Red shirt of Stanley.
