BIG Scotsman Kenny Arthur believes that Accrington Stanley’s Jimmy Ryan will soon be attracting interest from other clubs after his whirlwind start to the season with the Reds.

And Stanley’s number one shot stopper Arthur, believes that the Republic of Ireland Under 21s star could soon be at the centre of a bidding war from rival clubs. Ryan was released by Shrewsbury last season before Stanley snapped him up on a free transfer, and is really impressing on the right of midfield.

Arthur told the Lancashire Telegraph: “Jimmy has done well since he came to this club.

“You can see the quality that has got him into the Republic of Ireland international set-up.

“I wouldn`t be surprised if there was some interest from other clubs in the future.”
