ACCRINGTON Stanley clung on to earn a point away from home this afternoon with a goalless draw with Barnet at Underhill.

John Coleman’s men ended the game with nine men after red cards for Reds midfielder Charlie Barnett and on loan Burnley defender Kevin Long.

Colchester United loan defender Thomas Bender made his bow for Stanley, coming into the game as a 79th minute substitute and looks set to start his first game on Tuesday evening, in the First Round of the Johnstones Paint Trophy against Carlisle United.
