ACCRINGTON STANLEY manager John Coleman is aiming to pass 50 points, the total his side made last season.

The Reds are currently five points from the big 50, and with eight games remaining this season, it looks like a realistic target, as Coleman tries to get his side to surge up the leaugue table as the season draws to a close.

‘My own personal target is for us to finish higher than last season with more points,’ Coleman told the Lancashire Telegraph.

‘Only then can we be proud of the record that we’ve got at the moment.

‘Hopefully, we will improve on last season and maybe we can improve on that in the following season as well.’
