James Beattie has said he’s looking forward to facing Cheltenham this weekend and he’s looking for the players to secure the first three points of the season.

Speaking to the Official Site Beattie again talked about football being the perfect game for bouncing back because of how regular the next match comes after a disappointment, and he’s looking for something to smile about this weekend.

‘It gives you an opportunity every week to put those things right and Saturday will be a game that we are looking to win because we’re at home. It provides us an excellent opportunity for us to get some serious points on the board this week with the three home games we’ve got.’

Beattie confirmed that he would be without Nicky Hunt who is out injured and the suspended Danny Webber, but he’s looking for some of the younger members of the team to step up and take their chance to impress.
