LEICESTER City striker Billy Kee has signed for Accrington Stanley in a loan deal that will keep the youngster in East Lancashire until the end of December.

Kee, 18, scored an outstanding 44 goals in 42 games for Leicester’s successful Academy team over the past two seasons and manager John Coleman is delighted with the capture as he looks for strikers who can hit the back of the net.

The front man is also the Northern Ireland under 19’s captain and has attracted interest from clubs including Exeter, Wycombe, Bradford, Millwall, Cheltenham and Bournemouth after his goalscoring exploits in recent weeks.

Kee was considering leaving Leicester, but recently agreed a professional contract with the Foxes. He will link up with his new Stanley team mates on August 1st.
