Manager James Beattie has said that our trip to Middlesbrough is an opportunity for the team to make up for the Newport loss.
Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, Beattie said he had no injury worries ahead of the game and that the lads had been working hard on the training ground preparing for the test that Boro will pose.
‘I said after the game that football is a great sport to allow you to put things right. Tuesday is a prime example. It wasn’t the start we wanted, there are a lot of things to work on but I still have huge faith in the squad. The season isn’t won and lost on the first day. For this game there’s no pressure on us, I’ll tell the guys to go there, enjoy themselves and take in the occasion but it’s a game we can win.’
