ACCRINGTON Stanley travel to Brechin City tonight, with City manager Michael O’Neill admitting “I would expect Accrington to be at least the quality we have at the top of our first division/bottom of the Premiership. They will be a stern test.’

O’Neill of course played in the North West with Wigan, and know’s what a threat lower league teams in England can be.

“Having played at Wigan for a spell I know the teams from the lower leagues in England are very professional, big and strong.

Brechin are also set to publish a special commemorative programme, which will mark the first ever Lancashire club to visit the Glebe.

A Pre-Match report will be up on the site soon.
