The latest weekend of league 2 football is here with Accrington back in action away from home as the ‘big boys’ take their international break.

Accrington head to Brunton Park this afternoon as we take on Carlisle United.

Carlisle could have Alex Marrow (abductor muscle tear), Paul Thirlwell and Steven Rigg (thigh) all back after they missed FA Cup defeat to Peterborough United. Oldham Athletic loanee Connor Brown could get a first league start.

We can call upon three players again with Nicky Hunt (suspension) back after missing last weekends FA Cup draw with league 1 outfit Notts County.

Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United loanees John O’Sullivan and Sean Maguire, respectively, weren’t allowed permission to feature in that cup-tie but should return.

Jack Rose has become our latest ‘keeper addition with him set to continue with Jesse Joronen (foot) and Aaron Chapman (knee) injured.
