20 year old Adam Carver has said he believes his recent five week spell at Barrow has really helped him develop as a player.

During his spell with them, he scored three goals in seven starts and did get some really beneficial game time under his belt and he told the Official Site that it had been a more than worthwhile experience and he’d loved it.

‘I think I’ve really benefitted from it as I’ve scored a few goals and kept my fitness up. The FA Trophy win was a great way to end my loan with two goals and sending the club through. It’s always good to score but by knocking a club in a higher league out, there’s nothing better.’

Since returning to Stanley, he has also now moved out again for further experience on an emergency loan deal until January with AFC Flyde.

They currently sit third in the Evo Stik Premier division and are pushing hard for promotion, so it’ll be another good experience for the youngster and clearly he’s already found his feet with them as he made his debut for them and scored his opening goal against Stafford Rangers, before following that up with a brace in his second match in mid week against Nelson.

A return of three goals in two games certainly isn’t bad for the youngster.

Certainly becoming one to watch for the future given his recent goal scoring form during his spells on loan.
