ACCRINGTON STANLEY have been dealt a major blow to face over the busy christmas period. Captain Peter Cavanagh will be out for up to three months following an operation, while Rommy Boco jets off to join up with his International team mates.

Cavanagh will undergo an achilles operation this week, and could be out for up to three months whilst he recovers. The skipper has been left out of recent squads as a result of a recent hernia operation.

Romauld Boco leaves East Lancashire behind this week as he jets off to meet up with his Benin team mates as they prepare for January’s African Cup of Nations. Boco’s and Benin’s games will be shown live in the Crown Pub.

Good Look Cav and Rommy.
