ACCRINGTON Stanley skipper Peter Cavanagh is hoping that he will be kept at the Fraser Eagle Stadium by gaffer John Coleman, and admitted he has had ‘positive’ talks over the weekend.

Right back Cavanagh, 25, said he was more than happy to stay, but his future at the club is now in the hands of the management.

‘Things are going a bit slow at the moment,’ he said speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph.

‘Both sides have had their say and I put my side across. I don’t think my demands are too excessive.

‘If we get the right players in and keep the majority from last season then I’m sure we can do well next year.’
