ACCRINGTON Stanley have offered a contract to former loan star Billy Kee, after the Northern Ireland international striker was released by parent club Leicester City.

The 19-year-old forward scored a total of nine goals in his 37 appearances for the club last season, gaining a lot of fans in the process.

A number of clubs are said to be interested in the striker, who has represented his country at both Under 19s and Under 21s level. He gained his first full international call up last year when he replaced the injured Kyle Lafferty in Nigel Worthington’s squad.
