With the unexpected departure of James Beattie from the role of manager, and Paul Stephenson not being drawn on whether he wants the role full time, rumours and speculation are once again rife on who could be sitting in the hotseat in the future.

When Leam Richardson left, John Coleman’s name again came up and the suggestion was he and Jimmy Bell were inline for their second spell at the club, and they are again now highly tipped to be in post ahead of the game against Northampton this weekend.

It’s said in the press that negotiations are all but complete.

We’ll soon find out.
