JOHN Coleman is hoping to clinch the signatures of his summer transfer targets within the next 14 days, adding to the signature of Northern Ireland international Colin Murdock.

Coleman pounced on midfielder come defender Murdock, who verbally agreed a one-year-deal at The Fraser Eagle Stadium ten days ago will sign the contract when he returns from his foliday following his release from Shrewsbury Town.

Speaking on Murdock, Coleman told the Lancashire Telegraph: ‘We tried to sign Colin on loan last season, but we didn’t manage to get him.

‘He’s a good defender with experience, but he’s still got plenty of legs in him.’

And Coleman isn’t going to stop there and told of how he wants up to or over six players in the summer transfer window, but admits that no money will be spent on players.

‘I’ll be trying my hardest to get my squad finalised in the next two weeks or so,’ said Coleman.

‘The players that we kept have all been given their fitness coaching programmes to stick to during the summer.

‘The more players we can get on that regime, the better.’
