ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman is hopeful that Ray Putterill and Andy Parkinson, will pen new deals with the club before their current contracts expire at the end of the month.

The duo who have both featured heavily in Coleman’s side, see their deals run until December 31st, but the club have offered both improved contracts to keep them in East Lancashire at least until the end of the season.

Vital Accrington Stanley understands that the contract talks are likely to be concluded before the Reds are scheduled to take on Rotherham United on Tuesday.
