SWANSEA City decided to recall on loan midfielder Ian Craney on Thursday, only to say they didn’t want him back yet and that Stanley could keep him until January, as originally planned.

City gaffer Roberto Martinez had told the midfielder to head back to Swansea, calling a hault to his three-month loan spell after just one month at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

But after talks between the two clubs, a decision was made that Craney WOULD NOT be recalled and that he would complete his three month loan deal, which will end in January.

It is rumoured that the League One outfit, were recalling Craney only to send him out on loan to a DIFFERENT club, who are higher placed in the Football League than Stanley.
