ACCRINGTON Stanley last night snapped up former midfielder Ian Craney on loan, less than twelve months after the club sold him to League One outfit Swansea City.

After his switch at the beginning of last season, Craney became a first team regular for the Swans, but this season the 25-year-old found himself down the pecking order and was restricted to just the signle appearance, which came from the bench.

The former fans favourite joins Stanley on a three month loan deal and is thought to be joining Stanley again on a perminant deal in the Januray transfer window.

Wether Stanley will have to pay the £150,000 that Swansea coughed up for him is still in the question.

Welcome back to Accrington Ian.
