Following on from the news that Accrington Stanley had secured the services of goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli on loan from Fulham until the end of the season, Accrington have announced that they have in turn allowed Ian Dunbavin to extend his loan spell out at Chesterfield until the end of 2013-14 as well.
The 33 year old joined them at the start of the month, and obviously renewed acquaintances with our former gaffers Paul Cook and Leam Richardson at the Proact Stadium.
As per the terms of the loan deal, he will not be eligible for selection when we host them at the Store First Stadium on March 8th.
Since moving to them, he has yet to make his debut for the club, and so has only played five times this campaign – and those appearances came for us in the opening half of the season.
