ELEVEN Accrington Stanley players have been offered new contracts to keep them at the Crown Ground.

Top scorer Michael Symes has been offered new terms along with youngster Bobby Grant, but both are subject to continued interest from higher league clubs and could stall until they’ve considered their options.

Championship outfit Derby County were said to be taking a closer look at Symes, while Queens Park Rangers where rumoured to be interested in Grant, who impressed in a recent cup tie against them at Loftus Road.

Also offered new deals are goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin, who has seen more first team football this season with the departure of Kenny Arthur. Defenders Dean Winnard, Darran Kempson and Peter Murphy along with midfielders Luke Joyce, Sean McConville, John Miles and Alan Burton have also been handed new contracts.

Leam Richardson is also out of contract now but has been offered a deal on non-contract terms, that is thought to include a ‘pay as you play’ incentive. The former Blackpool full back missed most of the 2009/10 season after picking up a string of injuries.

Vital Stanley will bring you news of any players who re-sign and of course out latest signings!
