ACCRINGTON Stanley crashed to a third consecutive and a sixth defeat of the season at the hands of Barnet at Underhill on Saturday afternoon despite Kenny Arthur’s penalty heroics.

John O’Flynn scored his first goal of the season for Barnet in only his second start for the club to open the scoring after just 29 seconds leaving Stanley gaffer John Coleman fuming.

Colin Murdock equalled the scoring for Accrington Stanley on the stroke of half-time with an effort following John Miles’ corner kick.

Accrington substitute Robbie Williams was sent off after 73minutes for a professional foul, but O’Flynn couldn’t score his second of the game as Scottish stopper Arthur kept the effort out.

But ten men Stanley conceded from the resulting corner kick as Ismail Yakubu handed Barnet the lead and handed them the three points, Barnet’s second win of the season and their second consecutive win.
