TRANMERE Rovers striker Terry Gornell has joined Accrington Stanley on a one month loan deal from the League One side, and could make his debut against Darlington on Saturday.

Gornell, 18, has risen through Rovers’ youth system, and signed his first professional deal in the summer. So far he has only appearaed once for the Merseysiders, when he came on as a substitute against Grimsby in the Carling Cup.

He impressed manager John Coleman in the Reserve’s game, when Stanley took on Tranmere, and tempted Coley into taking the youngster for a month.
