ACCRINGTON Stanley picked up their first win of their Pre-Season schedule as they beat UniBond North division side FC Halifax Town at Shay Stadium thanks to well taken goals.
Trialist Gary King, who has had one hell of a week, scored the first goal for Stanley four minutes after the non leaguers had opened the scoring through James Dean.
Half time substitute Robert Grant effectively won the game for the Reds with two second half strikes.
