ONLOAN Rochdale winger Kallum Higginbotham has returned to Spotlands following a brief loan spell with Accrington Stanley, in which he made a total of five appearances.

The young midfielder was introduced into four games from the bench, and started just once for John Coleman’s side, with his only start coming in the 3-0 demolition of Bournemouth at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, a game which turned out to be his last for the club.

Accrington however are thought to remain interested in the services of the 19-year-old who very well could return to East Lancashire in January, on another loan deal or a perminant one.

More loan news to follow soon.
