ACCRINGTON Stanley will travel to Wycombe’s Adams Park on the first day of the new League Two campaign to face a tricky away day challenge.

The Chairboys failed to pick up three points when facing up to the tough Accrington challenge.

A 2-1 win at the Fraser Eagle Stadium just a month after Stanley’s return to the Football League was backed up by a great away point in January.

The first away game is a Carling Cup First Round tie with Championship outfit Leicester City, which is followed four days later by the first home league game of the season which is against Darlington.

John Coleman takes his side to Grimsby Town on Boxing Day, which is on a Wednesday this year. Stanley travel to Bradford on News Day hoping to start 2008 with a bang!

The curtain comes down on what is hopefully going to be a successful season with a home tie against local rivals Bury Town.
