Leam Richardson was delighted to see us snatch all three points in the game against Wycombe and he cares not one bit that the game was a scrappy affair.

Speaking to the media following the 1-0 victory stolen on 93 minutes, he said.

‘At this time of the season it’s not about performances it’s about results – I’ve said that before when we’ve played really well and not got what we deserved. I don’t think either team played well to be honest and it was scrappy, the pitch dictated that, but to get the result was fantastic and I’m made up.’

Richardson repeated that the team does have goals in it, but we have to keep ourselves in the game so we can take advantage of that, and he also had praise for the goalscorer again.

‘We always felt that if we can stay in the game then we’ve got goals in us and it happens to be Lee again who has popped up to give us a massive three points.’
