ACCRINGTON Stanley midfielder Jimmy Ryan capped off a fantastic personal week of football, as he scooped the man of the match award for his country and opened the scoring on the way.

Ryan scored on Saturday in the Red of Accrington at the Fraser Eagle Stadium as some how Bradford City overturned a 2-0 deficit going into the last ten minutes scoring three times to take home the points.

And his goal scoring burst continued in Lithuania where he is representing the Republic of Ireland Under 21s. The young midfielder opened the scoring after 75minutes in Jonava and then left with the man of the match award.
