DEFENDER Darran Kempson has today rejoined Accrington Stanley for a third time, this time on a perminant one-year contract following his release from Wrexham.

Kempson has enjoyed two prevision spells with the club, both on loan, where overall he has featured 19 times for Stanley scoring twice.

The 24-year-old made 15 appearances for Wrexham last term before being sent out on loan to Forest Green Rovers where he played a further five games before returning to Wrexham where he was told he had no future.

The central defender played in Saturday’s Pre-Season win against FC Halifax Town at the Shay Stadium before penning his deal today.
