On loan goalkeeper Joe Lumley has now returned to his parent club and instead we have brought in Aaron Chapman.

Lumley came in from Queens Park Rangers for a month and the 19 year old made six starts for the club after joining in August.

He has now left the club following the expiry of his loan spell and new manager John Coleman has also decided to loan out Andrew Dawber and James Jenkins so they can hopefully get some good game time.

Speaking to the Official Site about our loanees out, Coleman explained firstly about 19 year old Dawber.

‘It’s vital for his development that he plays, I feel for any young keeper who sits on the bench because although there’s a chance to do a lot theory work and training they don’t really get much chance to do a lot of practical.’

Dawber has so far made six appearances for the club having come through our Academy and will now build his development with another spell away from us.

For Jenkins, he was already on loan at Padiham and that deal has been extended for a further two months. The 18 year old has so far scored twice in six appearances for them.

The incoming news is 24 year old Chesterfield goalkeeper Aaron Chapman.

He has joined us initially on a two month loan spell, and Coleman said of the player.

‘He’s someone who very much caught my eye when I saw him playing for Chester. He was impressive every time, he has a real presence and he’s got a good character.’
