Accrington Stanley have today confirmed that goalkeeper Jay Lynch has now left the club.

The 21 year old former stopper has been working with us over the summer and he signed non contract terms as manager James Beattie continued to look at him with an eye to the squad and assessing his abilities.

He made his debut for us as a substitute in the defeat to Shrewsbury last month and he started the following game against Luton Town, but that was the last appearance he made for us.

Stanley would like to thank him for his efforts during his very brief spell with us and they wish him well for the future, but Beattie is seemingly looking for something different.
