FORMER ACCRINGTON Stanley striker Andy Mangan is set to rejoin the Fraser Eagle Stadium outfit, just months after opting to leave Stanley for Bury Town.

The 21-year-old will rejoin John Coleman on Thursday afternoon, on a loan deal thought to be one month long.

The pace man Mangan joined the Reds in 2005 following his release from Championship side Blackpool, and was used mainly as a substitute but still managed a total of 10 goals during his time here.

After turning down Stanley’s offer of a new deal, Mangan joined rival League Two side Bury Town, in search of more first team action. But this only brought him seven starts for the Shakers, but managed to hit the net on five occassions.

‘It’s good to have him back on board and he’ll strengthen our forward line,’ said Coleman, speaking to the Official website.

‘Andy knows the club and we know him so hopefully it will work out well and he can score a few goals.’

Mangan is set to be named in the squad that faces Stockport at The Fraser Eagle Stadium this weekend.
