ACCRINGTON Stanley suffered a crushing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Blue Square Premier side Barrow on Saturday afternoon, as a recent dip in form continues.
Barrow found themselves with a comfortable 2-0 lead by half time, before Ian Craney gave Accrington a glimemr of hope late on as he converted a free kick. But it wasn’t enough and Stanley fell to a third consecutive official Pre-Season defeat.
Accrington had beaten Huddersfield Town 1-0 in a behind closed doors game during the week but that is off record as a Pre-Season fixture.
Everton’s Reserves are Stanley’s final pre-season friendly on Wednesday night at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, kick off 7.00pm.

Must be disappointed with this result after the win against Huddersfield.
Was a very poor showing from our boys to be fair.
