PRE-SEASON is starting to take shape for Accrington Stanley as the new season draws ever closer for John Coleman and his Reds’.
Burnley had been the only confirmed date for Accrington, with the game taking place at the Fraser Eagle Stadium on Saturday 26th July with a kick off time of 3:00pm.
But this morning Stanley have confirmed that the club will travel to local non league outfits Darwen and Rossendale United on Tuesday 8th July and Tuesday 15th July respectively.
There will also be trips to Cammell Laird and Burscough as the preperation for next season steps up a gear.

Tuesday 8th July – Darwen (A)
Saturday 12th July – Cammell Laird (A)
Tuesday 15th July – Rossendale United (A)
Saturday 26th July – Burnley (H)
Tuesday 29th July – Burscough (A)

That is hardly a tough pre season workout.
I know, it is always the same schedule though. Burnley is the toughest by far, great day is that when Accy play the Clarets. We need some higher level opposition in Pre-Season though.
At least you have a hard test with Burnley. At least the other games should give your strikers some confidence ahead of the season.
