ACCRINGTON Stanley midfielder Andy Procter has today extended his contract, by signing a new two year deal at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

Procter joined Stanley at the beginning of 2002 at the age of 18 from local outfit Great Harwood Town. The inflencial midfielder has made just short of 190 appearances in the Red of Accrington Stanley, but dissapointingly for him, he missed most of the 2005/06 Conference winning season through injury.

Procter came back at the start of this season and went on to feature in 46 matches, managing to get himself on the scoresheet three times, including two goals against Paul Ince’s Macclesfield Town at The Fraser Eagle Stadium.

The win ensured Stanley’s survival in the Football League.
