FORMER Accrington Stanley goalkeeper Kenny Arthur has snubbed a move back to the Crown Ground, and has instead penned a two-year-deal with Blue Square Premier side, Grimsby Town.

Arthur has joined The Marriners on a free transfer from Rochdale, who will be playing their football in N-Power League One next term.

Stanley gaffer John Coleman had been in talks with the Scots shot stopper over a move back to East Lancashire, but the move broke down as wage demands became a major stumbling block.
