Accrington Stanley are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.
The performance by Ben Richards-Everton in the one nil victory over Coventry City at the weekend at the Crown Ground was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.
I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Richards-Everton was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.
‘Another 1-0 success came the way of Accrington Stanley, who got the better of Coventry City at the Wham Stadium. Richards-Everton made a significant contribution to Stanley`s win, dealing superbly with anything the Sky Blues could throw at him and earning plaudits aplenty on social media.’
It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Richards-Everton for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.
