Richardson On Barnet Boost

Leam Richardson has said Stanley can take a huge amount of confidence from the win over Barnet today.

Talking to the assembled press following the match, Richardson praised the contribution of Lee Molyneux after he scored a hattrick and gave us all three points.

‘We know Lee can do that and he will get the headlines but everyone played well. We played some fantastic stuff in the first half and we deserved to lead 3-0.’

Leam says their goal before half time came as a ‘sucker punch’ but he was delighted with how the team responded again in the second half and he feels the victory was definitely deserved on the day.
