ACCRINGTON Stanley have today added two new faces to the backroom staff at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

A new commercial manager and goalkeeping coach are the positions to be filled.

Lew Carroll has joined as commercial manager, and comes to East Lancashire after being manager of ‘Game’ in Manchester City centre, obviously sellling… games.

‘I am very excited to be here, I have lived in Accrington all my life and listening to the club’s management it is obvious that the success of the last few years is only the start of what they want to achieve.’ Said Carroll speaking to the Official website.

‘There is much to be done in the coming months and I am looking forward to getting stuck in!’

Meanwhile, Ian Willcock joins Accrington as a goalkeeping coach.

Before arriving at the Fraser Eagle Stadoium, Willcock worked with fellow Lancastrians Bury and Burnley.

He will be working with the club’s shot stoppers Kenny Arthur, Ian Dunbavin and Martin Fearon, and also ‘keepers in the youth and centre of excellence set ups.

‘Its all about being professional and doing things right behind the scenes, Ian is a great lad and will give our goalkeepers the specialist training that the position requires.’ Said Stanley gaffer John Coleman, speaking to the Official site.
