THE draw has been made for this years Joma South West Challenge Cup, with Accrington Stanley being drawn alongside Blackpool and Bideford.

John Coleman’s men start their games on Tuesday 20th July against Ian Holloway’s Premier League new boys, Blackpool, at Vicarage Field, the home of North Devon League outfit Torrington.

Blackpool won promotion to England’s top flight with a fantastic 3-2 Play Off Final victory against Cardiff City at Wembley in May, and decided to enter the tournament after being offered a wild card entry.

The following day, Wednesday 21st, Stanley take on Bideford AFC at their own The Sports Ground. The non-league side last season won their Western League Premier Division, meaning a promotion into the Southern Football League Division One, and are now just two promotions away from the Conference South.

Should The Reds be successful, they will play their Semi-Final tie on either Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th July, with the Cup Final being played at Bideford’s Sports Ground on Sunday 25th, with a penned in kick off time of 3pm.

FIXTURES:

Tuesday 20th July – at Vicarage Field vs Blackpool – 7.30pm.

Wednesday 21st July at The Sports Ground vs Bideford AFC – 8:00pm.
