AHEAD of Accrington Stanley’s trip to Devon to take part in this season’s Joma sponsored South West Challenge Cup, Vital Stanley take a look at the grounds where the Reds will be playing.

Stanley kick off their tournament against Premier League new boys Blackpool at Torrington Football Club’s Vicarage Fields, a ground which has a maximum capacity of 2000, with 250 of that number being seated.

John Coleman’s side then face Bideford AFC on the following day. Bideford will be playing at their home ground, The Sports Ground (not the best of Stadium names), and so will be used to their surroundings.

The Sports Ground is also the venue for the cup final on Sunday 25th, should Accrington make it all the way.
