ACCRINGTON Stanley suffered a third straight defeat in all competitions as newly promoted Exeter City came from behind to beat the Reds at St James’s Park.

Blackburn Rovers youngster Jamie Clarke, who is currently onloan with Accrington, opened the scoring on 11 minutes with a fantastically drilled shot accross the keeper into the bottom right hand corner after cutting in from the left.
