Manager John Coleman has brought in Fulham goalkeeper Jesse Joronen on loan.

The 21 year old Finnish international has moved to the club initially for a month and is obviously Aaron Chapman’s replacement following the serious and hugely unfortunate injury he sustained.

Joronen has made four appearances for Fulham so far this season and he’s actually been battling somebody we know well at the club, Marcus Bettinelli for their No 1 shirt and that’s a battle our former No 1 is currently winning.

He’s had previous loan spells out with Cambridge United and Maidenhead United and FC Lahti in his homeland.

Speaking to the Official Site Coleman explained.

‘We were disappointed to lose Aaron Chapman to injury but Jesse comes in with a great reputation and is a good addition. He’s played in the Championship this season and that experience could prove invaluable to him at League Two level.’

Joronen has been handed the No 30 shirt for his time at the club and he is eligible to make his debut for us in tomorrow’s game against Stevenage as long as Football League approval comes through in time.
