TRANMERE Rovers striker Terry Gornell has rejoined Accrington Stanley, this time in a permanent deal from the npower League One side and has signed a one-year deal.
Gornell, 20, enjoyed a loan spell at the Crown Ground the season before last, when he impressed supporters with his ability, and now he is back in East Lancashire after moving on a free transfer.
‘It’s great news,’ Gornell told the official website accringtonstanley.co.uk.
‘It’s been a quick couple of days and it’s great to be back.
‘I didn’t need much persuasion to come back. I know the setup here, I know John and Jimmy and a couple of the lads are still here from when I was last here.
‘John and Jimmy were the big reason for me coming here. I’ve played under them before and know what they’re all about and it suits me down to the ground.’
Gornell will wear the number 24 shirt.
