JOHN Coleman has admitted that he will be contacting League One outfit Leeds United before the end of the week regarding the availability of goalkeeper Alan Martin.
As Vital Accrington Stanley revealed on Saturday, the Reds are back in for the shot stopper after their original interest had been snubbed by the Elland Road club.
United manager Simon Grayson had said that until he had a new ‘keeper in, Martin would be unable to leave the club as he would be seen as the club’s number two, but after the singing of Shane Higgs from Cheltenham, it is thought that he could leave.
A loan deal looks more likely.
