ACCRINGTON Stanley are finally releasing the new home and away strips this weekend, after originally delaying the launch.

The home shirt is thought to include a white ‘V’ neck design along with a lot more red than the previous home strip did.

The away shirt is a lighter shade of blue and includes yellow trim, whereas last season’s away design featured navy blue, white and red.

The shirt will be launched in the Fraser Eagle Worldchoice store, which is situated at 187 Blackburn Road in Accrington Town Centre, on Saturday morning.

The launch will include a guest appearance from the clubs mascot Fraser The Eagle.

Speaking about the launch, Stanley’s Commercial Manager Lew Carrol said this:

‘The Fraser Eagle Worldchoice travel shop provides us with an excellent town centre location in which to hold the exclusive launch of these new-lookstrips.’

‘The new home shirt features more red than our previous design and alsoincludes a new-look collar, while the away shirt is a different shade of blue with a yellow trim.

‘I’m sure that once they see them on Saturday, our fans will be thrilled by the new designs and they can be among the first to have the shirts on their back.’

Fans at the launch will have the oppertunity to by the shirt, before it goes on general sale at the Fraser Eagle Stadium the following Saturday.
