STANLEY continue in their preperations for the new season, by welcoming Championship outfit Burnley to the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

The Reds beat non-league neighbours Clitheroe 2-0 on Wednesday evening, a game which saw ex-Claret Graham Branch make his Stanley bow. Di Branchio will get a standing ovation from both home and travelling fans, you can be sure of that.

Stanley boss John Coleman:

‘It will be a good game and a good test for us.

‘But as I’ve said before, and I’m sure Steve Cotterill is of the same opinion, it’s all about preparing for the start of the season.’

Accrington Stanley Team News:

John Coleman is set to hand his six summer signings Roscoe D’Sane, Graham Branch, Mark Roberts, Kenny Arthur, John Miles and Paul Carden are in line to make home debuts along with an expected number of trialists.

Making his home debut against his former club. I’m sure he will have a few things up his sleeve.

Burnley boss Steve Cotterill is set to bring his full first team to the Fraser Eagle Stadium, with the exclusion of transfer listed Garreth O’Connor, who is heading down to Bournemouth to join them in Pre-Season training.

Burnley new boys Gabor Kiraly and Besart Berisha are also set to feature in the game, after Albanian International Berisha was granted a work permit.

Player to watch: Andy Gray

The Clarets’ top scorer last season is a real danger in and around the box and is sure to test Stanley stoppers Kenny Arthur and Ian Dunbavin.
