AN ACCRINGTON Stanley select XI side will take on the cast of Channel 4 soap, Hollyoaks in the annual NSPCC charity game.

Have you ever dreamed of playing for John Coleman or playing at the Fraser Eagle Stadium? Well now is your chance!

If you donate £100 to the local branch of NSPCC you will get to play in the match, alongside some selected ex-Stanley players.

The charity match will take place at the Fraser Eagle Stadium on Sunday 12th August when a team made up of actors from Liverpool soap Hollyoaks come to East Lancashire to challenge Coley.

Gates are open at 1pm, with the game kicking off at 2pm. Admission is £5 for adults and £2 for children.

All funds raised will go to the local branch of the NSPCC. Stanley will give 10% of proceeds raised to the Charity, Imagine, which supports Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.
