ACCRINGTON STANLEY midfielder come striker, Rommy Boco, kicks off his African Cup of Nations campaign tomorrow evening as his Benin side take on Mali.
The match between Benin and Mali takes place on Monday evening with a kick off time of 7:30pm and will be screened live in the Stanley pub, The Crown.
The match is the opening game of the African Cup of Nations for Romauld’s Benin and a win is crucial, with the remaining two group fixtures after tomorrow being against Nigeria and Ivory Coast.
First up for Boco and Benin is Frederic Kanoute who will be representing his Mali side, whilst Chelsea’s Didier Drogba and Arsenal’s Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue will provide tough competition when Benin take on Ivory Coast. And that’s not it! Portsmouth’s Kanu, Chelsea’s John Mikel Obi and Hull’s Jay-Jay Okocha are set to be lining up for Nigeria.
