LEDGENDARY Accrington Stanley striker Paul Mullin could next season be lining up alongside his brother John Mullin, who is currently on trial with the Reds.

John Coleman’s men return to training on Monday morning, and there the former Sunderland and Tranmere front man will link up with his potential new team mates.

Along with Mullin will be around five other triallists looking to impress the management staff at The Fraser Eagle Stadium, including an a player released from Premiership side Liverpool.

‘We will have quite a few trialists and a couple have good reputations but we want to see them play,’ said club chairman Eric Whalley speaking to the Accrington Observer.

‘We won`t sign anyone on reputation alone.’
